Few days ago, i adopted one bearded dragon who is suffering from MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease) and broken tail. when i get the lizard,he is freaking weak and a lot of abscess grownat all around the body. The broken tail is superb smelly.i soaked him with Potasium Permagnaat to kill any potential fungus etc and Dextrose to increase the energy for the lizard. At first, the lizard took 4 crickets duested with calcium carbonate and the following day is not taking anymore. Not even any vege.I placed him under sunlight for the UVB(sheltered, not the hot sun) for the whole day, liquid form of multivitamin is given everyday as well.At the same time, internal parasite- Eimeria Oocysts was found on the lizard.Sample pic of Eimeria taken from yahoo.
Abcess and the wound have been cleaned but still my effort was invane.Btw,here's some pics of the post mortem on the lizard which was carried out yesterday. The organ was badly damage under bad husbandry. My guess on the husbandry-no UVB input(no vitD3),darn dirty enclosure(cause abscess and liver damage) and full with a lot of crickets for the whole time(non dusted with any supplement and cricket put there for a long time will stressed the animal).

Another view of the gut. As the bearded is suffering MBD, the leg got no muscle anymore but only bone!
THe lung, the liver a lot more organ is bleeding.Liver will be the one always damage if the animal is kept in dirty place. So guys, be a responsible keeper, keep ur reptiles clean!
Better view of the organ.
